The unique selling points of the Limassol region as a tourist destination were highlighted in a presentation organized by the Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company in collaboration with the local office of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism in Tel Aviv, in the context of the IMTM tourism exhibition 2022. The event started with a welcome statement by the Ambassador H.E. Theodora Constantinidou, and the opening remarks of Mrs Louisa Varaclas, Director-Israel, Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism. The presentation of the beautiful coastal region of Limassol was carried out the General Manager of the Limassol Tourism Board Mrs. Maria Stylianou Michaelidou, showcasing the beauties and experiences Limassol has to offer to Israeli travelers and investors alike. City of Dreams Mediterranean, Cyprus’ First Integrated Resort was presented by Mrs. Anna Olsson, Sales Director & Destination Marketing.
The presentations of Limassol and City of Dreams Mediterranean impressed the tourism professionals, bloggers and journalists who attended, raising the bar of luxury, technology, design and comfort that has made Limassol a high-quality tourist destination for visitors, conferences and business tourism. At the end of the event, a draw took place among the participants and Mr. Eliezer Drezner-Dar, Chairman emeritus of Journalists Association, Foreign Relations Committee, was the lucky winner of a three-day luxury holiday to Limassol, offered by the Limassol Tourism Board.
