The Chief Scientist and executives of the Foundation developed the vision and strategy of Cyprus to foreign investors. Eight innovative Cypriot companies participated in the largest IT and communications technology exhibition in the world, "Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2024" and "4 Years from Now" (4YFN). The Cypriot mission was led by the Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation and Technology of the Republic of Cyprus, Dimitris Skouridis, together with RIF officials.
The Cypriot innovative companies Embio Diagnostics, Energyintel Services Ltd, Mirror3D Lab Ltd, Irerobot Ltd, Intellar Innovative Solutions Ltd, CY.R.I.C, Cocoon Creations Services Limited, TototheoTrading Ltd, exhibited their products and services at the Cypriot stand within the exhibition and had the opportunity to present them to the thousands of exhibition visitors. At the same time, RIF officials informed foreign bodies about the possibilities of the technology and innovation sector in Cyprus, the strategies of the State in matters of Research, Innovation and Technology as well as the various tools and incentives offered, which make the country an attractive destination for innovative businesses.
The exhibition attracts the interest of thousands of businessmen, investors and scientists from all countries of the world every year. It is worth mentioning that the Cypriot stand was also visited by the Commissioner of Communications, Mr. Giorgos Michaelidis. The participation of Cyprus in the exhibition is part of the actions implemented by the Foundation to promote the national innovation ecosystem abroad as well as to support the country's innovative businesses.
