The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes the discussion by the Parliamentary Committee on Commerce of the long-pending issue of the Technology Park in Pentakomo. As rightly pointed out by MPs from all parties, it is unacceptable for this project to remain stagnant, despite the fact that there are clear signs of interest by investors.
The Limassol Chamber in unison with the members of parliament, is calling on the government to proceed, without further delay, with all the necessary procedures for the project. It notes, moreover, that there is no doubt that the Technology Park will contribute substantially to the fields research and innovation, that are key to the present and the future and where our country is proven to be lagging behind.
