Aiming to explore business opportunities for its members and to develop relations with foreign countries, the Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry joined a recent business mission to Bulgaria. The mission was jointly organized by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency and the Cyprus-Bulgarian Business Association, on the occasion of the visit to Sofia by the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades.
During a business forum held in the Bulgarian capital, the representative of the Limassol Chamber, Senior Officer Nikolas Iordanou, held a series of meetings aiming to determine the prospects of cooperation between Bulgarian enterprises and member-companies of the Limassol Chamber. As a result of the meeting, the following companies have expressed tentative interest in cooperating with Cypriot businesses:

Very constructive meetings were also held in the context of the Limassol Chamber’s bid to seek synergies with companies specializing in Research, Innovation and European Projects. Mr. Iordanou also visited the University of Sofia and met with academics and researchers. Discussions were held on possible cooperation and joint participation in European projects. At the same time, the Bulgarian side was also briefed on the Pentakomo Scientific and Technological Park.
