The Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in collaboration with the Cyprus – Slovakia Business Association, organized on May 29th, a Business Mission in its premises. The event aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two countries by enabling Cypriot and Slovak business leaders and entrepreneurs to explore new paths for collaboration across various industries.
The President of the Limassol Chamber, Andreas Tsouloftas, addressed the event and highlighted the strong and enduring bilateral relationship between Cyprus and Slovakia. Mr. Tsouloftas explained that the partnership between the two countries is built on mutual respect, shared values, and a commitment to fostering economic growth and development.
Welcome addresses followed by the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Martin Bezák and the Director of Foreign Trade Department, Slovak Investment & Trade Development Agency (SARIO), Egon Zorad. After the welcome remarks, a presentation about “Cyprus Tax Highlights” followed, offering attendees a comprehensive understanding of the country’s tax landscape.
The Business Mission was completed with a series of B2B meetings between Slovak companies and Limassol Chamber members, where entrepreneurs engaged in fruitful one-on-one discussions, exploring potential partnerships and collaborative opportunities. The meetings aimed at identifying mutual paths that could facilitate growth, expansion, and increased profitability for both Cypriot and Slovak enterprises.
