Construction company Cyfield received a permit from the Yposonas Municipality, for the installation of offices on the construction site of the new Technical School and a branch of the Pedagogical Institute in Agios Nikolaos parish of Kato Polemidia municipality at the end of March, which marked the start of the construction works. The reason the site offices were licensed by Ypsonas, (even though the project is located on the territory of Polemidia), is that with this arrangement, the local authority could provide them with water, (which the Limassol Water Board could not in the specific area, by Ypsonas Mayor Pantelis Georgiou.

However, Ypsonas’s interest in the advent of the new School is not confined to these details, since as Pantelis Georgiou pointed out to "Entrepreneurial Limassol", given the industrial development in the Municipality, there is a huge need for technical professions, especially in the industrial are and adjacent industrial zones. Furthermore, he, "great employment opportunities will be available to the people who will study in the Technical School, in light of synergies with the local industry.
