The charity Santa Claus Road Race organized by the Limassol Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company was successfully held on Sunday, December 11, 2022. The start of the race was celebrated with a festive program by the Cheerleaders of the Cypriot Guide Corps and the Philharmonic of the Cypriot Scout Corps. Afterwards, hundreds of Santa Clauses made their presence felt on the reclamation and the Limassol beach road, offering a wonderful Christmas spectacle and lots of joy to young and old alike.
Race participants were of all ages, nationalities and abilities creating a great celebration for families, friends and colleagues. At the end of the event, a celebratory program was held by the Limassol Municipality in Grigoris Afxentiou Square, in front of the Limassol District Office.
The goal of the LIMASSOL SANTA RUN 2022, which was held with the support of the Limassol Municipality and the Limassol Police Department, was to support the work of the Theotokos Foundation and to spread Christmas joy at the same time.
