The Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry has welcomed a proposal by Limassol MP Fotini Tsiridou, for the central offices of the Cyprus Ports Authority to be moved to Limassol.
The Chamber has always argued that the Ports Authority offices should be located in the main port of Cyprus, which is in Limassol, an element that is in line with the goal of optimal port operations and realizing savings on operating costs.
‘’We want to believe that this proposal will finally be implemented, in the interest of our shipping industry and, by extension, of the local economy in general.’’
