The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry has hailed the Government’s decision to grant final approval to the framework for the development and operation of the Scientific and Technological Park in the Pentakomo area of the Limassol district.

In a Press Release issued in the wake of the decision, the Chamber makes reference to its own longstanding efforts aimed at the realisation of the project and expresses its satisfaction that these efforts have finally been crowned with success. On this occasion, the LCCI thanked the Government for the decisions taken and also public sector technocrats for their own contribution in terms of providing the necessary know-how.

The Chamber’s Press Release concludes by saying that it is looking forward to the now imminent  call for tenders for the project, which will contribute very positively to the all-important fields of research and innovation.

Meanwhile, the Limassol Chamber is considering ways for its own active participation in the project.
