With the COVID-19 pandemic bringing about a drastically new situation on the public health horizon and requiring, among other things, the use of masks for a large number of employees, the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry mobilized in support of its members and the Limassol business community in general
In this context, all the staff of the Chamber offices worked voluntarily on Sunday, May 3, from early in the morning until late in the afternoon, distributing to beneficiaries 12.000 disposable masks provided to the local Chamber by the Ministry of Health and the total number that will be distributed will be 30.000. There was a large number of interested individuals, representing companies-members of the Chamber as well as many non-members, companies and self-employed.
In the event that the Ministry decides to grant an additional numbers of masks to the Chambers for the needs of other interested parties or for a longer period of coverage of the needs of the companies, the Limassol Chamber will again do what it has to.
