Latest Figures: Consumer Prices Index, April 2016



The Consumer Price Index for April 2016 increased by 0,16 units or 0,16% to 98,05 units compared to 97,89 in March 2016. This is mainly due to increases in the prices of petroleum products and of certain clothing and footwear. Decrease has been recorded in the price of electricity.

The rate of inflation for April 2016 decreased by -2,5% as in March 2016. The corresponding rate for April 2015 was –2,1%.
