All About Limassol, the city and district guide of Limassol, a project that is under the auspices of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry was officially launched in the evening of July 1, before an audience of some 200 persons, including members of parliament, the Mayor of Limassol, other senior officials, representatives of professional associations and corporations.

In his opening address, Limassol Chamber President Costas Galatariotis expressed his confidence that the portal All About Limassol represents a thoroughly comprehensive online guide for the entire Limassol, city and district.

Mr. Galatariotis referred to the impressive development of Limassol, resulting from the implementation of vitally important projects, always with the support of the Chamber, including the Limassol sea front and city centre, as well as various other infrastructure schemes in both urban and rural areas of Limassol, commending the contribution of the local authorities and of private initiative alike.

He also noted the projects that are in the pipeline, with the Chamber again playing a pivotal role, such as the Scientific and Technological Park, the upcoming upgrading of the Limassol Archaeological Museum and the bid for the acquisition and sinking of an out-of-use oil plartform with a view to creating an artificial reef for diving purposes.

Referring to the need of Limassol promoting what it has to offer, the Chamber President hailed the work done by the Limassol District Tourism Development and Promotion Company, as well as the promotion achieved by means of events of international clout, like the Limassol Marathon, in addition to the Cyprus Rally, which is returning this year to Limassol. Concluding, he proposed the portal All About Limassol as the means that will bring what exists and what happens in Limassol to a new level, with constantly updated info and the use of modern internet technology.

The All About Limassol project was presented by Constantinos Harpas, Manager of All About Limassol Co Ltd, who is credited with conceptualizing and running the whole effort. Mr. Hapras made it clear that the whole scheme would have not been possible without the support of the Limassol, Chamber. It is, he said, an all-encompassing and reliable source of information about Limassol. It is constantly updated, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, it includes a company directory, various articles, as well as photos and videos.
