The recent crisis caused by the abolition of the
Cyprus investment program, left almost unaffected the progress of projects in
the Fasouri area of Limassol, where a new city has already begun to take shape.
After the casino-resort and the start of plot separation at the Limassol Greens
Golf Resort, a third large construction site was set up in the area.
Sunset Gardens is considered as the first integrated
residential community in Cyprus, with a total of 315 homes. Preliminary works,
such as earthworks and the creation of the public road network, started at the
end of October and are nearing completion, while foundation work on three
buildings and the communal swimming pool are well in progress.
The goal is for the first 115 apartments to be handed
over to their owners, by the middle of 2022. As pointed out by Sunset Gardens
CEO, Nikolas Agiomamitis, "with this project, Imperio offers young
couples the opportunity to get their first home at affordable prices. The
interest from potential buyers ", he pointed out, “especially from young professionals and young
couples is great, even during the difficult period we are going through ".
Indicative of that is the fact that over last four months more than 70
apartments have been sold.
Next to the casino and just 800 meters from Lady’s
Mile, the CNS Group will build the Citrine Estates. The residential project
will have 29 modern apartments, 13 houses and 10 three- and four-bedroom
villas. Each house will have its own swimming pool. Citrine Estates is part of
a wider development planned by Cyprus Phassouri Ltd in the region. When completed, it is expected to accommodate 1,400
new residents, while the office buildings to be constructed will employ about a
thousand people. The project concerns the separation of existing plots into 78
development plots, road network, social equipment space and public green
spaces, which will amount to 15,6% of the area.
