Just like in previous years, with the advent of 2020 the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry made donations in support of charitable organizations that are active in the city and the district of Limassol. At a brief, modest ceremony, held on the sidelines of the first meeting of the Limassol Chamber Board for 2020, President Costas Galatariotis praised the work done by the charities to provide practical support to people who are in need. He added that the Chamber, appreciating this important work, which is almost entirely done by volunteers, will continue, to the best of its ability, to support this effort.
For their part, the representatives of the institutions, having briefly referred to their activities, as well as to the difficulties encountered at various levels, expressed their appreciation for the long-term support of the Chamber, stressing, that regardless of size, it is always welcome and very much facilitates their work. Meanwhile, as part of its social contribution, the Limassol Chamber is an official supporter of the Anti-Cancer Association's Carnival Party on February 20, the net proceeds of which will go to support the Association's needs. ‘’Entrepreneurial Limassol’’ has learned that many Chamber members have already expressed in actively participating in the event and supporting its noble cause.
