In May 2017, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism (the MECIT) of the Republic of Cyprus and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the EBRD) signed a cooperation agreement for the implementation of the Advice for Small Businesses (ASB) a three-year programme, that supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) registered and operating in the Republic of Cyprus.
