The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry expresses its full satisfaction at the expression of serious investor interest in the Pentakomo Scientific and Technological Park, as the deadline for the submission of bids for the project expired earlier today.
The Limassol Chamber, which had from the very beginning come out strongly in support of this very significant for Cyprus project, hails this very positive development and is thankful to all who have contributed to the positive outcome: The President of the Republic for his personal interest, the Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the Director General and officers of the Ministry and other government departments and, last but certainly not least, the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency for its crucially important role and contribution towards the fruition of the whole effort.
The interest expressed by a highly reputable foreign consortium, which is as of today both concrete and official, is surely representative of the great prospects opening up for our country in the highly important field of research & development and innovation. In the wake of today’s development, the Limassol Chamber now looks forward to a speedy completion of all that is required process-wise so for the actual implementation of the project to begin as soon as possible.
