Limassol – the capital of golfers!

Following the launch of the Lanitis Golf Public project in Fasouri, two more companies are at the starting point for the creation of their own state-of-the-art golf resorts, which will place Limassol on the map of golfers from all over the world. Thus increasing to three the number of golf course-resorts that will operate in the coming years in Limassol district. These projects, among others, are expected to create hundreds of new jobs, upgrade the quality of infrastructure and give a strong boost to the winter tourist season.

Eagle Pine Golf Resort, Aristo Developers

The new golf course and resort of Aristo Developers is planned to be built in an area of 1,717,621 sq.m. between Agios Amvrosios. and Paramali. As the President of the company, Theodoros Aristodimou, told "Entrprenedurial Limassol", the access road from the Limassol - Paphos motorway has already been constructed and the construction of the internal road network is in progress. Mr. Aristodimou noted that the start of the main construction works will depend on the provision of urban planning permits for the villas. The total cost of the investment is estimated at €140 million The operation of the leisure elements of the resort (golf course, club house, hotel, wellness centre and shopping centre) is expected to open as many as 200 jobs.

The design and licensing of the project, to be constructed in an area of 2,000,000 sq.m. in Vassa Kellakiou, started in 2012. The development includes an 18-hole golf course, golf club, restaurants and cafes, wellness centre with swimming pools, sports centre, small hotel, 520 villas, 135 maisonettes and 121 apartments. For the implementation of the project, 2,700 people are expected to be employed, in addition to another 750 for the operation of the resort.

Limassol Greens, Lanitis Golf Public Co Ltd

Following the success of limited-scale sales of land, Limassol Greens, through Cybarco, is now launching villas and apartments. The project is being developed in a total area of 1.4 million sq.m. and will include 18-hole golf course facilities, state-of-the-art Clubhouse, 500 villas and 250 apartments, shopping facilities, shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as a wellness centre with outdoor pool, spa facilities, and gym.
