In another indication of practical support to technical education, the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has recently proceeded with a donation of work uniforms and tools to the Limassol Apprenticeship System. Receiving the uniforms and tools Apprenticeship System Trainer Stavros Koliandris expressed his gratitude for the support of the Chamber and its contribution to addressing existing needs and improving the services offered.
It is be noted that cooperation between the two sides is long lasting and includes the annual award by the Chamber to the best student of the apprenticeship system in Limassol. The two sides had also cooperated in the framework of the European AppHelp4SMES Program (of the Erasmus category), which aimed at promoting the apprenticeship system and facilitating the placement and optimum incorporation of apprentices in industry.
