Junior Chamber International Lemesos, in cooperation with the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and in conjunction with the 3rd Info Day of the European InnoPlatform Project (Innovations Platform and Tools for Increasing the Innovation Capacity of SMEs in the Balkan Mediterranean Area), successfully organized the event entitled "The hidden dynamics for success in Business Today. Building the mindset for Innovation ". The event featured three interesting presentations.
The first presentation was by Nicolas Iordanou, Senior Officer and Coordinator for Research, Innovation and European Programmes at the LCCI, who spoke of the tools and services created through InnoPlatform and provided to the business world or to anyone who wants to develop an innovative idea or product. The program is part of the Interreg BalkanMed Territorial Interregional Finance Facility, in the context of the Enterprise and Innovation priority pillar. The aim of the program is to strengthen the competitiveness of the economic environment of the Balkans and Cyprus, to promote business innovation, to encourage regional development and extroversion through new business partnerships and to improve the efficiency of enterprises by providing innovative services and exchange of know-how.
There followed All About Limassol – The Limassol City and District Official Guide – by the Director of the Guide, Constantinos Harpas. All About Limassol is an innovative idea implemented with the active support and under the auspices of the Limassol Chamber, aiming to promote Limassol and strengthen its brand. It enjoys support from organization such the Cyprus University of Technology, the Cyprus Ports Authority, as well as from Limassol district municipalities. All About Limassol produces primary and quality material daily (articles, tributes, photographic material, videos etc.), which highlight the diverse product of Limassol, both locally and internationally.
It also highlights the many advantages of Limassol at both city and district level, informing locals and visitors of what makes this city a unique place for Accommodation, Entertainment and Investments. The third presentation, by International Coach and Trainer Mathew Galatis, concentrated on developing mechanisms for success in the business environment by cultivating and developing individual skills. Completing the event was a networking cocktail that provided the opportunity for the attendees to talk to the presenters.
